Guestfriend can be added to your Facebook profile to help answer questions from prospective customers. Additionally, your Guestfriend can be added to your site or emailed to a friend for further help!
Go to Set up and choose which channel you’d like to setup first.
Guestfriend can answer your prospective customers’ questions in real time. In the Facebook Messenger box, click the “Authorize” button.
Note: Make sure you’re logged into the Facebook account that manages your restaurants' page.
Click “Continue as…” in order to complete the Guestfriend installation process.
You should now see a list of the Facebook pages you manage. Select the one for the restaurant account you're currently on, and then click the CONNECT button.
That's it! Your Guestfriend is now connected to your restaurant's Facebook page and is ready to start chatting with your guests.
Turning off any existing auto-messages
If you already have an auto-message set up in Facebook, you should turn it off once you connect Guestfriend to your restaurant's Facebook page. Simple instructions for doing that can be found here.
Adding the Message button to Facebook
If you don't have the message enabled, follow this link for simple instructions to turn it on.
Uninstalling Guestfriend from Facebook
First, go to your restaurant's Facebook page and click Settings at the top right corner of the page.
Next, click Messenger Platform from the Settings page.
Finally, scroll down and click Uninstall next to Guestfriend under the "Subscribed Apps" section.
